BRAZIL CORN PROSPECTS... 
 
    First crop corn planting generally gets underway during September with the 
peak during October. Harvest peaks during March and April and ends during May. 
 
    First crop corn harvest is mostly complete. 
 
    Second crop corn is generally planted from late January through February 
with harvest peaking during June and July. 
 
    An early end to the rainy season will have a major impact on double crop 
corn production. Crop losses are expected with harvest underway.
