E.ON Shares Rise After Cost Cuts at Onshore Wind Farm — Market Talk

1227 GMT E.ON SE shares slightly outperforming the market, after the company says it began operation of a 200MW onshore wind farm east of Amarillo, Texas, its 20th wind farm in the U.S. E.ON says it cut costs for the wind park, where budgeted investment is 40% below that for a similar facility built in 2009. E.ON trades up 1% at EUR9.27, just beating the DAX, which is up 0.6%. Rival RWE trades up 0.75% at EUR15.19. Both companies release earnings later in the week. (nikki.houston[a]wsj.com)
