Singapore’s STI Falls Again; Stocks Move on Corp News — Market Talk

0132 GMT [Dow Jones] The FTSE Straits Times Index continues its downward drift, losing another 0.6% to 2845.94 early Monday in line with other regional markets. Most larger stocks fall, such as Hutchison Port Holdings Trust (NS8U.SG) and Sembcorp Industries (U96.SG), down 2.2% and 1.4%, respectively. The morning is also more flush than usual with corporate news. Triyards (RC5.SG) moves 1.3% higher on results, while Keppel Corp (BN4.SG) is down 1.3% despite signing a joint venture with Shell. QT Vascular (5I0.SG) is up 2.3% after receiving CE mark clearance for the sale of a product, and Global Logistic Properties (MC0.SG) loses 0.6% after announcing the commencement of development of a logistics facility in China.
