West: Dry conditions or just a few light showers in the south with locally 
heavier. Temperatures near to below normal. 
 
East: Scattered light showers with isolated heavier. Temperatures near to above 
normal. 
 
Midwest Corn, Soybeans and Winter Wheat Forecast 
 
West: Dry conditions or just a few light showers with isolated heavier through 
Thursday. Episodes of scattered showers and thunderstorms Friday-Saturday. 
Light to moderate amounts with locally heavier expected. Dry conditions or just 
a few light showers Sunday. Temperatures near to above normal Monday, above 
normal Tuesday-Thursday, near to above normal Friday, variable Saturday-Sunday. 
 
East: Dry conditions or just a few light showers with locally heavier 
Monday-Tuesday. Episodes of scattered showers and thunderstorms 
Wednesday-Sunday. Moderate to heavy totals are expected. Temperatures near to 
above normal today, above normal Tuesday-Friday, near to above normal 
Saturday-Sunday. 
 
6 to 10 day outlook... Temperatures near to above normal. Rainfall near to 
below normal west, near to above normal east. 
 
WORLD WHEAT PROSPECTS 
 
    Generally favorable conditions for maturing spring wheat in the northern 
Plains. The harvest is increasing. 
    Favorable conditions for developing spring wheat in the Canadian Prairies. 
Crops are in good to excellent condition and making good progress towards 
maturity. 
    Some disruptions to the winter wheat harvest in England and France but 
nothing major. Mostly favorable weather for reproductive spring wheat in 
Germany and Poland. 
    No major concerns with the winter wheat harvest in Russia and Ukraine. 
    Good to excellent yield prospects for flowering to filling spring wheat in 
Kazakhstan and Siberia. 
    Favorable conditions for vegetative winter wheat throughout Australia.
